India-only service
Dharaa is currently offered only to residents of India. The service is built around Indian law (Indian Contract Act 1872, IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, Indian Stamp Act, Aadhaar eSign), Indian payment rails (UPI / Razorpay, INR-only pricing), and Indian state-wise stamp-duty data. 5. Legal Agreements and Disclaimers
5.1 Dharaa Is Not a Law Firm
IMPORTANT: Dharaa is a technology platform, not a law firm. Our services do not constitute legal advice. The AI-generated agreements are based on generally applicable Indian legal frameworks (including the Indian Contract Act 1872, the Information Technology Act 2000, state stamp duty laws, and relevant labour codes), but they may not address every specific legal situation or jurisdiction-specific requirement.
We strongly recommend consulting a qualified legal professional for:
- Complex or high-value transactions
- Agreements involving regulatory compliance in specialised industries
- Disputes arising from any agreement
- Situations where specific legal advice is required
5.2 Agreement Accuracy
While we design our AI to generate legally sound agreements:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions
- Laws and regulations change over time; agreements may not reflect the most recent legal developments
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all agreement content before signing
- Dharaa does not guarantee the enforceability of any agreement in any court or jurisdiction
5.3 Aadhaar eSign
When using Aadhaar eSign through Dharaa:
- Digital signatures are processed through government-approved eSign service providers (ASPs/ESPs)
- Signed documents are legally binding under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Aadhaar Act, 2016
- You must ensure all signers have consented to signing and have provided their own Aadhaar credentials voluntarily
- Dharaa does not store Aadhaar numbers — they are transmitted securely to the eSign provider
- eSign availability depends on UIDAI and eSign service provider uptime
5.4 Stamp Duty
Dharaa provides stamp duty guidance for informational purposes:
- Stamp duty rates and rules vary by state and agreement type and are subject to change
- Dharaa does not process stamp duty payments or provide e-Stamp paper
- It is your responsibility to ensure proper stamping and registration of agreements where required by law
- An unstamped agreement that requires stamping may face admissibility challenges in court
